LICENSED CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

 

A well-established, growing private practice group in the Greater Memphis area is searching for a full-time, Tennessee licensed psychologist for hire August 2006.  The practice has established affiliations with several medical and psychological practices in the area.  Our patient population spans West Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.

 

We are looking for a well-trained individual with a minimum of three years post-doctoral experience who is highly motivated, flexible, and works well within a group setting.  Individual will work with family members of all ages.  The practice provides individual, couples, family and group services.  Opportunities are available for consultation with medical, legal and school settings.  Prior experience with psychological/educational assessment and behavioral treatment of children is required.

Required:Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology or Doctorate of Psychology (Psy.D.) from an APA accredited graduate program3 years post-doctoral practice experienceUnrestricted license to practice in TennesseeGraduate coursework and clinical experience with intellectual/psychosocial assessment of attention deficit disorder, learning disabilities, and developmental disorders in children and adultsGraduate/residency training in ethics and assessment of suicide

 

Preferred:

?  Cognitive-behavioral, bio-psychosocial or brief therapy orientation

?  Previous empanelment to insurance PPOs

?  Willingness to supervise psychological examiners
