Key's entry-level caseworker position can help get you started in an exciting career in human services. Training, supervision and hands-on experience are provided -- just what you'll need to advance in this field or prepare for graduate school.
The Key Program is a private, non-profit human service agency located in MA and RI. Key caseworkers work directly with troubled and court-involved youth in either small group home settings or in community outreach programs.
Key caseworkers provide case management, educational support, life skills instruction, informal counseling, family intervention, recreational activities, and community support to adolescents and their families.Caseworkers work a varied schedule to include two shifts:morning/afternoon shift (8am-4pm) and afternoon/evening shift (3pm - 11pm).
Key is currently seeking entry-level Residential Caseworkers to work in small group homes for adolescents located in Worcester, Grafton, Springfield, Greenfield, Methuen or Pittsfield, Massachusetts or in Providence, RI.These are not live-in positions.
Key also seeks entry-level Outreach Caseworkers to work with teens and families in Worcester, Fall River, Springfield, Greenfield or Pittsfiled, MA or Providence, RI.
All caseworker positions require a bachelor's degree; a human service-related degree (psychology, sociology, criminal justice, education, social work, counseling, etc.) is preferred. Candidates must have a car, valid driver's license, be at least 21 years of age or older and must submit to a criminal records background check.
