Clinical Care Manager

We are recruiting Clinical Case Managers for a large, national managed care company located in Rockville.  The position consists of managing mental health and substance abuse cases telephonically in a corporate environment.  The CCM gathers clinical information from providers on the phone, accesses benefit information in the company?s database, authorizes for the appropriate level of treatment, and enters case disposition in the computer system.

 

The requirements for the CCM position are a current LCSW, LCSW or LPC in MD, 2 years solid clinical experience and knowledge of the DSM-IV.  In addition, successful candidates will have to pass a typing test with a net speed of 40 wpm.

 

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position.  During the temp period we are paying $29/hour and upon hire by the company, the salary is about $53,000.
