Clinical Social Worker II

Clinical Social Worker II provides social work evaluation and treatment services to patients and families with complex psychosocial needs independently or with supervision as needed in general pediatric clinics.  Takes a leadership role in coordinating services with the interdisciplinary team and community agencies to ensure appropriate patient care.  May provide functional direction to unlicensed social work staff (Clinical Social Workers I, Social Worker Associates) and social work interns. 


The ideal candidate will possess the required Master's degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or equivalent accreditation. Minimum 4 years overall experience as a full-time Licensed Clinical Social Worker in a medical setting (or related interdisciplinary environment) working with children, youth, and families; acute hospital experience preferred.  Experience to include 2 years as a Clinical Social Worker I.Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW) required.  Bilingual skills may be required.
