Inpatient Case Manager
Description:
This position is a great opportunity for licensed behavioral health clinicians to use their industry experience in a managed care setting focused on clinical excellence for participant members. The role offers a great salary with an excellent benefits package that starts your first day of employment including a continuing education program with funding and extra leave time..* Plans, implements, and evaluates appropriate health care services in conjunction with the physician treatment plan
* Performs prospective, concurrent, and retrospective reviews for inpatient acute care, rehabilitation, referrals, and select inpatient or outpatient services
* Ensures that case management program objectives are met by evaluating the effectiveness of alternative care services and that cost effective, quality care is maintained.
Qualifications:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Effective negotiation skills
* Strong time management and organization skills
* Strong research and analytical skills
* Knowledge of managed care preferred
* Manages own caseload and coordinates all assigned cases
* Three to five years post-license mental health experience.
* Requires Master's degree or RN degree in mental health discipline and independent licensure to practice in the state of MN (LMFT, LICSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist).
