SpecialCare currently has an In-take Coordinator positions open in the Hartselle, AL, Centerville, IL, and Atlantic City, NJ areas.  As an In-take Coordinator you will coordinate telephone inquires, screen potential adult patients for admission, initiate and conduct discharge planning, assist with weekly alumni meetings, assist the Service Coordinator, and other miscellaneous duties.

 

Qualified candidates must have the minimum of an Associate?s degree, with a Baccalaureate (4 yr) degree preferred and or three (3) years of relevant experience with one (1) year in a hospital setting.  Previous in-take experience, of at least (1) year.  Certification as a chemical dependency counselor preferred.  Displayed computer skills required.  Knowledge of the CIWA, Narcotic Withdrawal Assessment, and Cocaine Toxicity Scale preferred.  Experience with telephone marketing desirable.
