LogistiCare is the nation?s leading managed healthcare organization specializing in the management of healthcare transportation benefits. The Company?s client base consists of state and local government agencies (Medicaid agencies, transit authorities, school boards), managed care organizations and hospitals. Logisticare is not a provider of transportation vehicles (we do not physically own vehicles). Instead, the Company manages a network of transportation providers and provides the administrative infrastructure to authorize services and provide billing and claims payment functionality allowing the Company to offer a complete outsourcing solution to our clients.

LogistiCare has immediate full time opening in Centennial, CO for a Healthcare Manager.  The Healthcare/Social Services Manager is responsible for community based outreach and education; day-to-day relationship development with facilities; day-to-day management of service requests, problem resolution and quality.  He/she will have staff oversight, will perform data analysis and reporting, and review eligibilty determination of medicaid clients and services. 

Qualified Candidates will be knowledgeable of clinical UR and QA, Medicaid  guidelines and covered services.  Prior Member Services or UR Manager in a health-plan a plus. This position funtions as an advocate within the non-emergency medical transportation system for patients and case-managers alike throughout the state of CO providing in-service training to facilities on how to use NET services effectively and to promote positive relationships.  Statewide travel required.

Licensed LPN, RN, BSW, MSW, or LCSW with a combination of clinical and business experience required.  Qualified candidates will have demonstrated experience leading and supervising staff, strong problem resolution skills, a proactive approach to relationship building, strong written/verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and technical competence including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Database experience a plus.
