Marketing Comm Sr Specialist

Description:
Coordinates and writes timely, professional, and effective business and renewal proposals representative of the full breadth of CareAllies products. Emphasis includes complex requests for Proposals (RFPs) for large, national accounts. Reviews and analyzes requests for proposals and identifies non-standard service issues to be addressed. Works directly with the Account Executive, underwriters, and management to address non-standard features and client specific issues. Responsible for overall writing style, tone, and appearance of sales proposals. Must edit and review proposal for correct grammar, consistency in style, and responsiveness to questions and requirements included in the proposal specifications. Drives and facilitates solution-focused sales strategy development. Facilitates sales strategy meetings along with Account Executives, assigns open questions to CareAllies and CIGNA staff, assembles information, and crafts a tightly focused proposal. Responsible for supporting CIGNA HealthCare RFP questionnaires including coordinating, editing, and writing responses in a timely manner..

Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred, Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Marketing, Communications or related field required.
General knowledge of managed care sales with specific knowledge in sales strategy development and communication and effective business writing.
6 to 8 years of technical writing, journalism, or business writing experience required.
Extensive knowledge of managed care and marketplace trends and comprehensive awareness of competition.
Sales strategy development experience.
Demonstrated ability to create original, persuasive text and proposals that target prospective client's particular interests and needs.
Demonstrated ability to analyze Requests for Proposals and identify non-standard features and develop strategies to respond to those requests.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and complete work in accordance with established deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
Ability to interact effectively with executive level personnel.
Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing and presentation..
