Medicaid Liaison

The primary purpose of your job position is to act as our Medicaid Pending Liaison between resident, resident?s representative, the Center, Regional and County representatives, to ensure timely completion and approval of Medicaid applications.

 

Essential Functions:

Meet with family members and coordinate the filing of Medicaid application

File Medicaid application on Residents behalf

Meet with Board of Social Services to file Medicaid applications

Meet with the Centers Business Office Manager, Administrator, Social Services, and essential personnel to inform them of the status of pending applications

Attend AR reviews as required by Corporate Support staff.

 

Requirements:

Qualified candidates must be a licensed or certified social worker in the state of NJ and have prior long-term care experience.
