Norwegian American Hospital, located on Chicago?s historic near west side and only 15 minutes from downtown, has great opportunities available to be part of our New Behavioral Medicine Services. We?re seeking caring, compassionate professionals who expect the best and inspire the best in others in providing the highest quality care to our patients and their families. Our new program consists of twenty-four adult beds and thirteen Geriatric beds.

Responsibilities include observing and documenting patient?s verbal and behavioral responses and collaborating closely with other professionals along the continuum as well as families.

We require a minimum of 1 year experience in providing supportive services to adult and geriatric psychiatric patients and proven knowledge of psychiatric illnesses. A BS or BA is preferred. A degree in a Human Services field is highly desired.
