Mental Health Program Coordinator

This position is responsible for coordinating and/or providing mental health services for various client populations

including adults with mental illness and/or substance abuse disorders.  Provides case management services to clients on an as-needed basis, to provide continuity of care when staff vacancies occur.  Fills in as an ACT team member immediately if client/staff ratio begins to drop below 1:10 on either ACT team.  Attends ACT team meetings and attends all required ACT trainings with other team members.  Assists in orientation and training of new case managers.  Helps coordinate the Consumer Advisory Council.  Assists with auditing of case records. Troubleshoots client-related problems, issues or concerns. Serves as a ?back-up? intake worker and/or on-call worker.  Serves as ?point person? to obtain hospital discharge information on all clients within Adult Mental Health Services.Education & Experience:

1.  Must possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a  major in Psychology, Social Work, or closely related mental health field.

2.  Have had at least two (2) years of full‑time casework experience.

3.  Possess a valid motor vehicle operator or chauffeur's license.
