Program Therapist
Remuda Ranch provides individualized, intensive
inpatient programs for women and girls
suffering from eating disorders and related issues
In our unique, non-institutional settings,
our treatment teams, consisting of Psychiatric
and Primary Care Providers, Registered Dietitians,
Masters Level Therapists, Psychologist and
Registered Nurses, offer Biblically based
intensive care to patients of all faiths.
POSITION SUMMARY: To provide assistance and support to primary therapists in areas of documentation assessments, counseling and crisis management. To assist in the aftercare process with assigned patients. Facilitate groups as directed. May carry a limited (2) caseload under Supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Educational/Experience:
1. Arizona State Licensure required.
2. Minimum of Master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences required.
3. Two years of experience in facilitating individual group and family therapy with an adult or adolescent population. Prefer experience as primary therapist/case manager.
4. Prefer experience in treating chemical dependency, trauma, and AXIS II diagnostic criteria.
5. Prefer a minimum of one year's experience in eating disorders or in an intensive inpatient setting encompassing experience in individual, group and family therapy.
6. Obtain and maintain CPR, First Aid and Behavior Management Training.
Skills:
1. Demonstrates ability to convey messages clearly to others both verbal and written.
2. Effectively manage time to meet appointment schedules and program guidelines.
3. Ability to dictate progress notes efficiently and regularly on all pertinent and meaningful information for all patient, family and professional contacts.
4. Able to effectively treat patients in this setting by implementing clinical theory and interventions appropriate to patient needs and program guidelines.
5. Ability to provide on-call support as prescribed by policy and procedure.
