Fair Compensation

 

Compensation for your profession is market competitive, offering salary range:  Pay Grade 25:  Starting: $18.09; Midpoint: $22.61 Top: $27.13 Benefits are particularly good with extremely low co-pays for full health insurance.  A single person pays just $10 bi-weekly, a family $30 bi-weekly.  The retirement plan is also very good with a matching program in addition to a generous amount put in your retirement for each and every employee.  A very competitive relocation package offered.

The Opportunity 

 

Position Summary:

 

Within a 24-hour framework, responsible for the delivery of client care that promotes safety and well-being of all clients in the assigned department (s). To provide a healthy, safe structured environment; engage clients and families in a therapeutic alliance; perform clinical assessments within their realm; provide therapeutic interventions as directed; function as an active member of the CRC staff. Psych techs must have the ability to be on call for all psychiatric technicians. Assist with escorting clients within Bethel and outside of Bethel, when needed. Expected to be an active participate in client social, educational and therapeutic activities. Must be able to take direction and have a commitment to learning. Psych techs must be a minimum of 18 years old.

 

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in a human Services field preferred, or an AA Degree with a minimum of two years experience working in adult residential treatment center, or a High school diploma or equivalent with four or more years of experience working in an adult treatment facility. Minimum of four years experience working with youth required. Medication Management (Before working a shift alone) CPR/First Aid (Within six months of hire)TACT II (Within one year of hire)Age Specific Competencies. Must have a valid Alaska Driver's License at time of hire. Must pass a criminal background check.
