YAI/National Institute for People with Disabilities is an award-winning, nationally acclaimed network of not-for-profit health and human services agencies dedicated to building brighter futures for people of all ages with developmental disabilities and their families. We serve individuals, families and communities in New York City, Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Rockland, Orange and Sullivan Counties within New York State. The most recent additions to our network include services to the people of New Jersey and Puerto Rico. Our full range of services include early intervention, pre-school, family supports, employment training and placement, clinical and residential services, as well as recreational and camping services.

YAI/National Institute for People With Disabilities is currently seeking Group Home Psychologists / Behavioral Specialists for our Residential Programs located in Queens. Join our dynamic team counseling individuals and conducting groups. Develop and implement behavioral intervention programs. Provide staff training and support.


* MA/MS in Psychology or Counseling required
* Experience with MR/DD or MH population
* Good communication and written skills
* F/T Monday-Friday, 11AM-7PM
* Some flexibility and travel required
