Family Central, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization that plays a pivotal role in improving the lives of children and families in South Florida, by strengthening the social, emotional and economic fabric that binds families together, as well as to their community. Family Central offers, resources and referral services, subsidized child care, early care and education teacher training and technical support, public resource library, family and play therapy and parent education.

 

Our organization has opportunities for rewarding careers for qualified early childhood professionals to provide education, technical support, professional development and support services to pre-school childcare providers. This position provides technical assistance and training to the provider network as well as being responsible for planning and implementing recruitment strategies for new providers and assessing their effectiveness. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

 

Candidates must have the ability to support the provision of high quality childcare services in a pre-school setting, a consistent approach in promoting best practices and assist in developing the expertise of staff, engaged in teaching young children.

 

In addition, we require a Bachelor?s in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and a minimum of one (1) year teaching in a pre-school or kindergarten environment; two years preferred. Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child development, developmentally appropriate stages, behaviors and equipment, excellent presentation, interpersonal, marketing, organizational, communication and time management skills.
