Job Description:
A client located in Alexandria, VA is seeking a SERE Psychological Technician for a position in Fort Rucker, AL. The purpose of this position is to support USAAVNC SERE?s and is responsible for psychological monitoring of USAAVNC SERE Resistance Training Laboratory (RTL) exercises to assist in the continuing evaluation of all Department of Defense (DoD) mandated SERE training for high-risk military personnel. Conduct psychological screening, risk management monitoring, debriefing and intervention for all training and operational USAAVNC SERE concerns.

Qualifications:

?Under supervision of the SERE Psychologist, provides USAAVNC SERE students and instructor cadre with psychological debriefings and therapeutic intervention in training and contingency operations as required
?Conduct analog and psychometric screening and analysis of prospective personnel
?Perform psychological oversight on personnel for high-risk exercises.
?Responsible for risk management observation and assessment for all DOD personnel and civilian contractors involved in Code of Conduct laboratory training.
?Knowledge of standardized Department of Defense, military regulations, organizational policies, procedures, or other instructions relating to specific assigned functions
?In possession of or in pursuit of a graduate degree in Psychology from an accredited university.
?Understanding of Level-C Code of Conduct Executive Agent Instruction, DoD Directive 1300.7 / 1300.21
?Graduate of a DoD/JPRA approved Level ?C? SERE Course preferred but not required
?Thorough knowledge and clinical experience in the application of Critical Incident Stress.
?Maintain eligibility for Top Secret security clearance.
?Demonstrate and manage strict security of applicable classified documents and sensitive data.
