Star View Community Services, a leader in providing Mental Health Services in Los Angeles County; committed to helping youngsters with mental health and behavioral problems succeed at home, at school, and in life is seeking Supervisor for TEAMMATES Program at various locations (Torrance, Highland Park, Compton).
This position has primary responsibility for oversight of wraparound, mental health, and case management services to children and their families in support of permanency placement. The TEAMMATES Supervisor supervises Wraparound Facilitators providing wraparound services (including engagement, assessment, and Child and Family Team support) and other services to clients and families referred to the TEAMMATES Program. The TEAMMATES Supervisor may have their own caseload in addition to overseeing their staff. He/she acts as liaison with external agencies and functions on teams with other clinical & support staff.
Coordinates teams assisting in preparing youngsters for lasting and successful housing, vocational, educational, and treatment experiences. Services include a ?whatever it takes? approach and includes family needs assessment, counseling, shadowing, training, modeling and other interventions deemed necessary.
Maintains on-going relations with other county agencies, health care facilities, placement centers and other resources necessary to support children in community permanency placement.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Master's degree in a Mental Health Field plus two years experience in a mental health field, post licensure preferred
and
Licensed as MFT, LCSW or Ph.D. Psychologist.Above experience should be with children or adolescents (preferred) in residential or outpatient settings.
