Treatment Supervisor for Chemical Dependency Residential Program

This facility is a residential treatment program for adolescent females with chemical dependency and/or behavioral health issues.

The Treatment Supervisor is a professional position providing a full range of services to direct the therapeutic care and rehabilitation of adolescent substance abusers. Some of the job functions are as follows:
?Provide ongoing effective clinical supervision to counselors and monitor case management activities
?Direct and facilitate treatment-planning reviews
?Develop and maintain employee schedules that provide adequate clinical coverage to ensure safety for both clients and employees
?Interview and select most qualified candidate for posted positions
?Structure, implement, and facilitate new employee on-the-job orientation
?Conduct effective supervisory conferences and performance evaluations with employees, document the content of such meetings and evaluation, and provide feedback to them
?Determine and implement progressive discipline when needed according to the applicable policy
?Schedule team meetings, plan/implements agendas, and implement activities in an effort to promote teamwork and communication within the unit
Treatment Supervisor MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:?BA/BS Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, social services, or other related field and 3 years of clinical experience in the health and human services profession including 1 year working directly with the chemically dependent, or
?MA/MS Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, sociology, social services, or other related field (which included a practicum in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting) and 2 years clinical experience in the health and human services profession including working 1 year directly with the chemically dependent; or
?Associates Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field and 4 years of clinical experience in the health and human service profession including 1 year working directly with the chemically dependent
At least 21 years of age, valid drivers license, and criminal background checks (Act 33/34).
