Youth Specialist II

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.  Ability to work in a residential program with boys ages 6-12 and girls ages 6-18.  Tasks include: monitoring and documenting client status, the use of crisis intervention techniques, ensuring the cleanliness and professional appearance of the unit and completing appropriate incident reports.  Additional qualities include an individual who is able to develop and facilitate treatment groups.  Values cultural diversity, exhibits cultural competence and is knowledgeable about the impact of culture and ethnicity on the treatment process.
