Cerner Charge Services Implementation Specialist (4530)

Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Cerner Charge Services Specialist to join our National Implementation Team.

Job Responsibilities:

Participate in the implementation of Cerner Millennium applications.

Responsible for leading the charge services implementation for all hospital services.

Facilitate build and design workshops with hospital clinical and revenue services management teams.

Develop and implement charge auditing processes and procedures.

Develop and document charge services testing scenarios

Participate in application testing and system validation. Interact with multiple implementation teams to support the build of PharmNet, PathNet, RadNet and Patient Care applications.

Required Skills:

Cerner Millennium charge services application experience required (2 years)

Experience in charging at the interval level, standardizing the charge tier, and who has charge services build experience

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Ability to manipulate data using Excel

Hospital charge services and/or billing experience optimal

Knowledge of hospital charge services regulations and requirements including CMS and CPT coding

Project management methodology experience

Excellent oral and written skills

Desired Skills:

Experience with other Cerner Millennium applications.

Prior system implementation and/or support experience.

* Weekly travel to client site is required; Associates in this role can live anywhere in the US, as long as they are able to travel to client site *
