Concuity Financial Analyst (5083)

Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a Concuity Financial Analyst to join our team in Chicago, IL.

Job Responsibilities:
Performs tasks required to ensure the systematic and timely resolution of credit balance accounts. Documents all collection activity in the patient accounting system. Maintains file room. Systematically researches account balances to determine reason for existing balances through Concuity Contract Management system, and or Meditech PA system. Takes appropriate action to resolve.

Additional Responsibilities:
* Works all required reports daily within 24 hours of receipt. Reviews remittance advice, and variance reports to determine legitimacy of account balances and expedites processes as appropriate.
* Enters clear and concise comments in the patient accounting system, thoroughly documenting all research and activity.
* Rotates files and identifies records that can be destroyed in accordance with federal regulations.
* Works with supervision, management and the patient accounting staff to improve processes, increase accuracy, create efficiencies and achieve the overall goals of the department.

Required Skills:

Demonstrated knowledge of third party billing/collection procedures

Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial and HMO contracts

Thorough understanding of payer remittance advice and explanations of benefits.

Demonstrated skill and typing ability sufficient to function easily in a variety of hospital patient accounting and billing systems (Meditech, FISS, NEBO, NDAS)

Knowledge of claims review and analysis

Computer literate

Minimum Educational Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent
