Assignment Summary:
The two main areas of focus for specialists include: An inbound call center for physicians who are seeking prior authorizations of drugs. An outbound call research center focusing on consumers and non-specific special projects Inbound Program description: Receive and manage a high volume of telephone and fax requests from physicians seeking prior authorization on medications. Extensive database documentation requiring work with physicians' offices to obtain member diagnoses, other therapies tried, any testing, etc...
This department works one on one with physician offices, customer service and pharmacy teams. The ideal candidate must possess the skills of multi-tasking in a high call volume workplace Outbound Program description: Various Special Project assignments. Contacting Humana members to provide them with important health information benefiting them and assisting their healthcare decisions.
Degree Preferred:
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma/some college preferred 1 to 5 years of customer service experience.
Call center experience a plus Proven Organizational skills are highly recommended. Must be able to work in a high volume, multi task environment.
Candidate must possess proficiency with Internet based programs and Microsoft Windows Programs.
