Cytology Clerk

Position Summary:  The clerk performs duties associated with entering patient information and test results into the anatomic pathology computer system (CoPath) as well as a variety of other tasks to assist the Cytology Quality Assurance Specialist and Cytology Supervisor in performing their duties.

 

Essential Job Duties: 
File cytology slides
Monitor cytology pending
Prepare abnormal slides for shipment to Cell Netix daily
Do send outs as requestsed from clients
Maintain cytology slide files in warehouse
Assist with Cytyc Imager loading and unloading
Unpacking and monitoring daily slides received to be screened
Work with Seattle to resolve misc. clerical/processing problems
Perform other administrative duties as assigned by cytology supervisor.

 

Requirements:
High school diploma
Data entry skills
Able to lift at least 30 pounds
Good organizational skills
Able to multi-task

 

Hours:  Monday - Friday, 1st shift, 32 hours
