DIETITIAN-RENAL DIALYSIS-DALLAS, TEXAS-Work with the largest & best dialysis provider!

FMCNA is hiring a DIETITIAN for its facility in Dallas, Texas.  this is a part time position.

 

As a Dietitian with FMCNA you will:

 
Be responsible for providing ongoing care for all nutrition aspects of pre ESRD, ESRD, PD and transplant patients.
Be responsible for comprehensive nutrition assessment including short term care plan and long-term program within one month of admission.
Recommend appropriate feeding methods/formula or meal patterns (i.e. IDPN, supplements).
Be responsible for developing or obtaining patient nutrition educations materials. Counsel patient, family, significant other or caregiver on prescribed diet and monitor adherence and response to therapy.
Review monthly lab work on an individual basis and intervene as appropriate in collaboration with patient's physician.

 

The ideal candidate is a Registered Dietitian with a current state license if applicable. Prefer membership to the American Dietetic Association and/or professional membership to a renal association, i.e., CRN. The position requires 1-3 years experience in either renal nutrition or diabetes education. Effective oral communication skills are essential. Ability to travel with valid drivers license required.
