Essential Skills:
Manages a team of professionals responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of client eligibility data within PBS, the claims processing system. Responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes for the client eligibility setup, as well as manual and automated eligibility entry. Establishes performance guidelines and communicates metrics for Eligibility team, and develops procedures to ensure that guidelines are met. Maintains comprehensive knowledge of enrollment processes and system capabilities and acts as internal subject matter expert for new product development and sales teams. Works with Manager of Print and Member Materials to ensure that enrollment data interfaces seamlessly with ID card print control systems.
Maintains and modifies department staffing models and contributes to budget process as it relates to headcount needs. Responsible for following established procedures and working with Human Resources and Recruitment, for personnel management, interviewing, hiring, payroll, time off, and termination. Demonstrates and teaches proper business ethics through following of all company procedures and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
Previous supervisory experience required; 4+ years of PBM, chain pharmacy, health plan operations, or client service experience; 2+ years of Eligibility processing experience preferred; Position history that demonstrates increasing responsibilities, including: budgeting, hiring, performance evaluation, policies and procedures, quality management, and presentation; Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience in health care related field preferred.
