HOUSEKEEPING DIRECTOR / EXECUTIVE HOUSEKEEPER

New York Community Hospital a 134 bed Voluntary Non-Profit Hosp. and Member of the NY Presbyterian Healthcare System, located in a pleasant residential area of Brooklyn is seeking a Full Time Director of Housekeeping. A proven track record in the Hospital / Healthcare / Hotel industry is required. Responsibilities include providing and maintaining the highest quality and overall presentation of the facility on a day today basis including the hands on supervision of housekeeping personnel needed. Vigorous interaction of Housekeeping with all other departments will be required. Knowledge of hospital sanitation, cleaning techniques as well as JCAHO and DOH and City regulatory requirements preferred. Environmental / Facilities experience is also preferred.
