Role: Hospital Contracting Executive
Location: Atlanta, GA

Assignment Capsule
You will be responsible for negotiating hospital and ancillary contracts, at market competitive pricing. You will Initiate and maintain successful relationships with such entities, including key hospital and group practice administrators.

Network development and management, including complex contract negotiations with hospitals, integrated delivery systems and ancillary groups.

Establishing positive, strategic relationships with key hospitals, and managing and maintaining such relationships.

You will maintain effective internal relationships as well in order to achieve interdependent results.

With your proven and extensive provider contracting technical skills, you will do contract preparation and implementation, financial analysis and rate proposal development, and will use your indepth knowledge of various reimbursement methodologies.

As an effective operation manager, you will work on contracts within required guidelines and financial parameters, and will ensure cost-effective administration of provider contracts.
Key Competencies

Contract Negotiations: You have a history of proven contract negotiation skills, including execution of agreements with both hospitals and large physician groups.

Problem Solving: You are a problem solver with the ability to encourage others in collaborative problem solving. You can be both broker and consultant regarding the financial aspects of managing a health care provider network. You engage people in problem solving without taking over.

Is Accountable: You meet clearly stated expectations and takes responsibility for achieving results.
Role Essentials

Bachelors Degree or higher in business, health care administration or related field, or equivalent experience required

5 years network management/related experience, including contracting and network administration in a health benefits company or health care entity

Minimum 3 years proven experience negotiating contracts with complex hospital systems and large physician groups

Experienced in network adequacy determination and recruitment.

Strong negotiation skills, multi-tasker, and effective communicator that can clearly and concisely convey a complex plan or idea and achieve a mutually beneficial outcome

Demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Experience negotiating Medicare/CMS reimbursement methodologies with complex hospital systems and large physician groups, preferred
