This is a Statewide Hospital Contracting position. In this role, you will be responsible for statewide hospital network management, hospital contracting at competitive pricing, contract administration, financial and network analysis.

You will use your demonstrated experience in network development and network management, including complex contract negotiations with hospitals.

You will establish positive, strategic relationships with statewide hospitals, and will manage and maintain such relationships.

You will maintain effective internal relationships as well in order to achieve interdependent results.

With your proven and extensive provider contracting technical skills, you will do contract preparation and implementation, financial analysis and rate proposal development, and will use your indepth knowledge of various reimbursement methodologies.

As an effective operation manager, you will work on contracts within required guidelines and financial parameters, and will ensure cost-effective administration of provider contracts.

Contract Negotiations: You have a history of proven contract negotiation skills, including execution of agreements with both hospitals and large physician groups.

Problem Solving: You are a problem solver with the ability to encourage others in collaborative problem solving. You can be both broker and consultant regarding the financial aspects of managing a health care provider network. You engage people in problem solving without taking over.

Role Essentials

Minimum 5 years network management/related experience, including contracting and network administration in a health benefits company or health care entity.

Bachelor's degree or higher in business, health care administration or related field.

Ability to fully resolve complex contracts, projects and issues

Strong analytical abilities

Financial and managed care knowledge

Effective communicator that can clearly and concisely convey a complex plan or idea in order to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome.
