Job Description: Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for an Insurance Account Representative to join our team in Madison, TN.

Job Summary:
This position is expected to perform specific areas of billing, follow-up and account resolution by thorough collection techniques to contribute to overall department success.

Job Responsibilities:

Ensures compliance regarding billing and follow-up on all accounts

Ensures timely billing and follow-up on assigned accounts

Completes work accurately and timely with appropriate documentation

Meet and/or exceed the daily production goal as defined by the manager

Excellent math skills are required for this position

Excellent reasoning skills are required for this position

Ability to read and evaluate Healthcare Receivables Information

Ability to effectively and correctly communicate to the staff and management

Excellent written and verbal skills

Ability to learn new programs and systems

Required Skills:

1+ years of billing/collections experience

Equivalent combination of education and experience

Ability to effectively and correctly communicate to management

Excellent written and verbal skills

Excellent math skills and reasoning skills

Intermediate to expert knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Word

Ability to learn new programs and systems

Desired Skills:

Certificate from college or technical school

1+ years in Healthcare Receivables Management

Minimum Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
