Intake Coordinator, Healthcare

In addition,the position provides the opportunity to:
Work a full time schedule
Gain additional experience in the health insurance industry

Requirements/ Qualifications:
3-4 years in Utilization Management/ Managed Care environment or related healthcare setting.
Must have knowledge of medical terminology, ICD9 and CPT4 Coding, disease categories and
services provided in ambulatory and institutional setting.
Knowledge of PC/Windows based software and data entry skills of 7500 kph.
Ability to type 40 wpm.
Excellent communication skills.
High School/ GED.
Associate degree in Healthcare or Behavioral Science related field preferred.
