Role: Large Practice and Ancillary Contracting Representative
Location: Jacksonville, FL

Assignment Capsule
You will be responsible for negotiating and/or renegotiating physician and ancillary contracts with healthcare providers to build and expand the provider Network. You will also be responsible for maintaining on-going, positive relationships with providers and with multiple Humana associates. You will act as the point of contact for all ongoing contractual and complex service issues.

Identify contracting opportunities. Initiate, manage and monitor contracting projects.
Utilize databases for network and financial analysis and impact. Track contracting status, and savings/spends.

Collecting competitive information in the marketplace.

Interface with management and hospital contractors markets related to contracting needs and prioritizes areas of development.

Ability to be considered a subject matter expert in the contracting area assigned.

Sets targets, priorities and generates statistical reports to demonstrate status and needs in assigned area.

Role Essentials

Bachelors degree

Proven successful experience in provider relations or managed care contracting

Proven negotiation skills

Excellent communication skills (verbally, written and listening)

Proven ability to build positive relationships with clients and business partners

Proficiency in analyzing and understanding financial trends in provider contracting

Professional presentation skills

PC proficiency (MS Office applications and Lotus smart Suite)

Must have intermediate/advanced Excel knowledge.

Ancillary operational and administative knowledge
