Lead Front Office Assistant

Nice medical office in La Jolla is seeking a Lead Front Office Assistant. Ideal candidate should have at least 3 to 5 years experience working in a medical office. Supervisory experience; the ability to oversee staff, and resolve conflicts & office issues is a plus. Duties will include busy, multi-line phones; patient check-in/check-out; insurance verifications & claims, and heavy contact with insurance companies; appointment scheduling, as well as assisting with medical billing, and other office duties as needed.

 

Qualifications include good front office and computer skills (Medisoft preferred, but not required); medical billing and experience dealing with insurance companies a must. Ability to assist doctor with anything needed, and a take charge attitude is a must. Must be a self-starter; upbeat; friendly with good customer service skills; professional; mature; reliable, and able to work at an executive assistant level in a busy, fast-paced environment.
