MEDICAL BILLING & CODING SPECIALIST / PAID WORK-STUDY PROGRAM

ABOUT WORK STUDY:

If you are looking to gain the training and hands-on experience needed to qualify for more jobs then ProTrain?s PAID Work-Study program is for you. This program will allow you the opportunity to develop your skills while gaining real-world experience working part-time as a teacher?s assistant or project development assistant (please see requirements below).

 

DESCRIPTION:

Medical Coding is one of the fastest growing and in demand occupations in the country due to the magnitude of the aging population and longevity. Health care in the 21st century is complex and requires proficiency in all areas including medical coding, accurate processing of health insurance claims, patient billing, insurance reimbursement and computerized medical technology. ProTrain is here to ensure that you develop a strong foundation of skills that give you the competitive edge necessary to keep up with the trends and changes of this high tech medical job market. Job placement assistance and resume writing assistance is available to all graduates of ProTrain. The Medical Coding & Billing Specialist program was developed to prepare students to work in: Physicians Practices, Managed Care Organizations, Hospital Medical Records Departments, Billing Services, Insurance Companies and Other Healthcare Facilities.

REQUIREMENTS:

Students must meet the admission and tuition requirements and tuition cost vary according to program. Tuition financing and/or government funding is available for qualified applicants.  ProTrain is an approved school through the New Jersey Department of Education and Labor and accepts WIA and other unemployment grants.
