Managed Care Contractor
?Shift: (8:30am ? 5:00pm)

Specific Duties and Responsibiliteies
?
— Negotiates, administers, extends, terminates and renegotiates center specific agreements
?
— Works with Marketing to qualify accounts and identify which accounts to target for center specific ??
?? agreements
?
— Develops working relationships with Strategic Partner counterparts
?
— Identifies new contracting opportunities in line with the organizations strategic initiatives, establishes
?? relationships, and works with the Director of Managed Care to negotiate agreements.?
?
— Acts as Account Manager for strategic accounts
?
— Works with internal departments to resolve provider claim issues, service issues, or any complaints which
?? occur in the performance of the contract
?
— Monitors, analyzes, and evaluates contract performance to determine areas of opportunity to? increase ??
?? scan volume and to ensure contractual compliance.
?
— Completes facility and physician re credentialing and handles requests for information from contracted
?? payors on a timely basis
?
— Generates and distributes monthly updated insurance lists
?
— Additional duties as assigned
?
Job Requirements
— Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or 3- 5 years related experience and/or ?
?? training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
?
— Minimum 2 years physician marketing/sales experience
?
— Preferred Physician/Managed Care Contracting experience
?
— Relationship Building/Interpersonal
?
— Problem Solving, Analytical and Negotiation Skills
?
?
