The Manager of Clinical Engineering directs the Children?s Healthcare of Atlanta medical equipment management program at the assigned campus site as manager of the Department of Clinical Engineering. The Manager is responsible for meeting all regulatory requirements, and maintaining accurate records at the assigned campus location.

 

Qualifications:

 BS / MS degree in Clinical/Biomedical or Electrical Engineering preferred. Fifteen years minimum experience in biomedical or electrical instrumentation and test equipment. Ten years minimum supervisory experience in a healthcare medical equipment (asset) management setting dealing with multiple facilities. Proficient in various P.C. hardware/software applications and equipment database programs. Posses excellent communication, organizational, and follow through skills. Familiar with regulatory requirements including JCAHO, NFPA, and AAMI. BLS certification is required.
