Manager - Code Definition, Mapping & Editing
Job Description: The Manager is responsible for supervising a group of tenured, skilled analysts, consultants and/or specialists. This team is responsible for Code Editing, Code Definition and Code Mapping.
A day in the life of the Manager might include:
Work with multiple operational areas to ensure support is provided as needed.
Improve internal departmental processes to enhance effectiveness.
Work with multiple business partners to identify and resolve issues.
Work with vendors to evaluate new products and/or opportunities.
Report activities and progress towards goals and objectives.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven leadership skills and significant experience directly managing a group of seasoned professionals.
Coding expertise including CPT, CPIX, ICD9 and revenue coding.
Demonstrated success working in collaboration with multiple departments and disciplines.
Strong computer skills
