Job Description:


Champions improvements in network performance through data collection, analysis and reporting, project management, and driving action plans and process improvements that enable Network Management to meet/exceed performance objectives and operational targets.Based on data analysis, develops and executes performance improvement strategies and special projects that directly impact the operational and financial performance of Network Management and UnitedHealthcare.


 


Job Responsibilities:


Accountable for "keeping score" of Regional/market performance against objectives, analyzing trend data and making recommendations for improvement.

Tracks, analyzes and reports metric and other data across the region.

Collaborates with National metric data owners to improve metric data integrity, data collection processes and reporting capabilities.

Collaborates with Regional Network Management to improve metric data integrity, data collection processes and reporting capabilities.

Supports Regional Network Management in the development, monitoring and maintenance of metric action plans.

Highlights metric "outliers" to Regional and National leadership and tracks Network Management performance against plans specific to "outliers".

Leads special projects and drives initiatives within the region that lead to performance improvements in Network Management.

Presents data, trends, findings, plans and accomplishments to Regional and National leadership.

Utilizes project management techniques that include developing project plans, milestones and deliverables, managing project scope and resources, tracking progress against milestones and deliverables.

Facilitates business best practices and process improvements through cross-regional collaboration.

Tracks regional performance to budget targets, highlights budget "outliers" to Regional and National leadership and tracks Network Management performance against plans specific to budget "outliers".

Provides advice/guidance/recommendations to Regional and National leadership regarding cost savings opportunities, best practices and performance improvement opportunities.

Maintains highest personal/professional integrity and enforce Principles of Integrity and Compliance.


 



Job Qualifications:


Five to ten years of management experience in a matrix environment required.

Bachelors degree required.

Strong problem solving skills that enable quick identification and efficient resolution of issues including the ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and successfully devise/implement appropriate solutions.

Strong knowledge of Network Management objectives and contracting processes.

Successful project management experience as well as proficiency in planning and leading projects (experience with PMI methodology,a plus).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in speaking and presenting information in both individual and group settings.

Ability to multi-task, shifting back and forth effectively among multiple activities.

Possesses good interpersonal skills, establishing rapport and working well with others.

Demonstrated leadership skills.

Strong PC skills (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio) required.
