Medical Billing Specialist

Position Summary: 

Trouble-shooting accounts receivable position. Position deals with providers as well as patients. Candidates should be resourceful and have excellent computer skills in Medical Manager.

 

Responsibilities:

Process check requests, refund checks, monthly account statements and handling check disbursements.  Batch invoices, run control totals, perform standard general entries, and enters adjustments at month-end closing.

 

Requirements:

We seek qualified candidates for our Central Billing Office with 2-3 years experience in payment posting, healthcare billing, knowledge of federal and carrier regulations, and CPT-4/ICD-9.  Strong customer service skills and medical call center experience preferred. Basic knowledge of HMO, PPO, and Medicare required.
