Medical Device Technical and Clinical Support Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and technically savvy professional to support a clinical trial for a new device to help treat cancer patients.  Responsibilities will include training a group of clinical trial technicians operating clinics in the Northeast and Midwest, developing and maintaining procedures, maintaining a fleet of equipment including troubleshooting, and serving as back-up for patient care technicians at the various sites as necessary.  Opportunities for growth will follow a successful clinical trial as the company grows. 

 

Necessary SkillsBachelors degree, preferably in biomedical engineering or other technical disciplineElectronic equipment operation and troubleshooting skills ? troubleshooting basic hardware and electrical issues (at the level of using a multimeter)Computer skills ? manipulation of files, file transfer, database entry and queryPositive, energetic, service-oriented dispositionMust be able to travel every week, occasionally for a week or two at a timePedantic, meticulous, neat, and well-organizedAble to operate and solve problems independently with minimal supervisionExperience preparing procedures a plus Teaching and or training experience a plusExperience with patient care a plus
