Job Description:

Perform a variety of clerical and customer service support tasks such as patient scheduling, answering phones, monitor and maintain medical records, insurance verifications and various administrative duties as required.

 

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent.

At least one year of previous medical front office experience (experience in a radiology dept desirable). 
Ability to speak a second language is preferred but not required.

 

Knowledge of: 

Basic medical terminology.

Customer service principles and techniques.

Medical front office procedures.

 

Ability to:

Use a computer and word processing programs (i.e. Microsoft Word & Excel).

Type at a rate of 50 WPM.

Communicate effectively with staff, management, healthcare representatives, and external customers.
