Non-Lab Research Assistant

The Center for Outcomes and Policy Research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is seeking a self-motivated individual for a non-laboratory research assistant position.  This position will assist with studies in medical ethics, with a focus on the ethics of biomedical research.  The primary responsibilities of this position will involve managing and conducting surveys with patients.  Specific duties include: arranging and conducting phone interviews with patients, coordinating mailed surveys, entering data, maintaining study databases in MS Access, reviewing and abstracting information from patients' charts and computer records.  Will assist with other projects as they arise.

 

BA/BS required.  Previous experience in biomedical or other quantitative research preferred.  Excellent MS Office, organizational, and communication skills required.  Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines.
