PARKING FIELD COORDINATOR

The Parking Department of Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) seeks an energetic individual committed to service excellence for this full-time position.  Reporting to the Parking Manager, this position supports the delivery of parking services on campus.  Responsibilities include: supervising the day-to-day field parking operations and staff; training and scheduling staff; performing daily revenue/audit control; maintaining and repairing parking equipment and systems; traffic enforcement and motorist assistance.  Qualified candidates must have: a minimum of a high school diploma or GED;  2+ years of customer service and supervisory experience in campus or commercial parking; show proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Powerpoint ); possess strong oral and written communication skills; have current State of IL driver?s licensure in good standing; have ability to perform basic addition/subtraction tasks and operate a cash register; must be able to walk, kneel and bend to repair equipment, occasionally change a flat tire, etc.; and, must be able to lift 50 pounds, work outdoors and tolerate a variety of weather extremes.  Preferred candidates would also have mechanical/electrical maintenance and repair experience; knowledge of parking software and an Associates Degree or equivalent trade school experience.  Position typically works Monday-Friday, 8:30a.m.-5:00p.m.
