Physician Services Liaison

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Physician Services Liaison.This position is located in our Central Business Office which is located in North Dallas.

 

Job Purpose:

This position will provide advanced, diversified and confidential Administrative Support to the Dallas Division of Pinnacle which is made up of 14 Anesthesiologists.  This position acts as liaison between the Division and the Central Business Office.

 

 

Duties: Administrative support to the division head and designee?s including set up of meetings, correspondence management, and transcription of meeting minutes. Act as liaison and perform specific duties as outlined below for various departments.Daily contact with all levels of personnel, including division members, surgeons, hospital staff at all levels and the division manager to obtain and provide information regarding the operations/practices impacting the division.Support the division manager on an as needed basis to ensure timely set up of meetings, timely completion and distribution of correspondence.  Prepares correspondence, memos, reports etc. Initiates routine and non-routine correspondence and memos. Acts as liaison between Surgeon and OB offices offering assistance as needed as well as routine visits to maintain the highest level of personalized customer service.Responds to calls regarding OB registration and prepays and reviews all OB accounts prior to any agency placement.Provides direction and support for the reconciliation of both OR and OB minutes/cases. Responsible for working with the assigned vacation /call scheduler (Dr. Moore) to assist in completion and distribution of the schedule. Assists Dr. Holub with set up and follow through of OBA sites.Works as needed with Pinnacle billing to ensure timely and accurate updates of charge documents. Obtains additional documentation as needed for CBO to complete billing process. Acts as liaison between specific hospital departments and or programs as needed. ( IVF and Department of Obstetrics )Attends Divisional meetings upon request, takes minutes and distributes as directed. Act as back up scheduler for the division as needed or directed. Maintains the strictest confidentiality.Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.

 

 

Education/Training/Experience: High School graduate.  Associates or bachelor?s degree in business administration or secretarial program is preferred. Two to five years of proven Physician Practice experience or in a related field
