Paramedic opportunities at Virtua Health in southern New Jersey
Virtua Health is a multi-hospital healthcare system and one of the largest employers in southern New Jersey. With four hospitals, two rehabilitation and nursing centers, outpatient health and surgery centers, home healthcare services, and the William G. Rohrer Center for HealthFitness, Virtua Health employs 7,100 clinical and administrative personnel and 1,800 physicians as medical staff members.
We are currently accepting applications for full-time, part-time, and per diem Paramedics who will provide Advanced Life Support in the emergency setting. Accountable for Advanced Life Support needs of pre-hospital patient, including assessment. Provides coverage throughout Camden and Burlington Counties.
Requirements include: graduate of a recognized Paramedic Training Program. NJ Paramedic Certification. Current certification in CPR to the professional rescuer level and AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Must maintain continuing education requirements, including annual BLS/ALS skill evaluations. Must have a valid NJ driver?s license and driving record which meets insurance company standards/requirements.
Virtua Health?s facilities are located just minutes from Philadelphia with easy access to all major routes including: Routes 295, 38, 70, 73 and exits 4 and 5 on the New Jersey Turnpike.
