Patient Coordinator/ Scheduler

Molecular Imaging  is an outpatient diagnostic imaging center located in the western suburbs and is focused on PET/CT imaging and CT imaging. We are seeking for full time and part time friendly, team oriented, energetic and experienced people for the following positions:

Patient Coordinator/Scheduler



Job Qualifications:
1) High school graduation or proof of GED
2) Strong skills in working with computers and communication equipment
3) Ability to schedule patients and follow up on patient insurance concerns as outlined in Policy and Procedure
4) Knowledge of medical terminology is desired
5) Ability to take initiative and resolve patient communication issues independently or with the assistance of the Front Office Coordinator

6) Ability or prior knlwedge in insurance verification

Job Requirements:
The Patient Coordinator needs to thrive in a fast paced environment utilizing critical thinking skills. Candidate must be professional and supportive to patients and co-workers. A Medical/clinical background is preferred, but not required.
