RIS/PACS Administrator
Redwood Regional Medical Group is seeking a RIS/PACS Administrator to manage the day-to-day operations of the Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), for its multi-site practice. Primary responsibilities include workstation installation including peripherals, troubleshooting hardware and operating software, facilitating optimal system performance and ensuring that medical image storage and retrieval is accurate, reliable, timely and conducted in compliance with internal policies and regulations. This position will serve as point-person for all PACS issues, providing education and user support for applications and system software. The PACS Administrator must provide on-call support as necessary and be available to respond to routine emergency situations. The successful candidate will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to provide instruction to users. Position requires a valid CA Drivers License with a clean DMV record. Prefer candidate with fundamental experience for LAN/WAN and server systems. Must possess excellent organizational and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. BS degree in computer science or related degree required or AS.
