Full time position available in Health Services at EVMS in Norfolk, VA. Bachelor?s degree and three years experience involving quantitative analysis and project management req?d. Knowledge of healthcare industry, physician billing practices, medical terminology, and third party reimbursement req?d. Certified Professional Coder pref?d. Job responsibilities include: using IDX billing system to obtain relevant billing information for analysis, develop techniques for effective analysis of billing and collection efforts, serve as a resource to Practice Managers and Division Directors concerning fee setting, recommend solutions for billing problems, conduct analysis to determine the financial impact of changes in third party allowances and review fees in relation to these changes, and other duties as assigned.
