SUMMARY:
Works under the direction of Director of Safety and is responsible for monitoring and improving the Environment of Care and Safety program at a hospital campus. Monitors and maintains the hospital?s compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, EPA and state and local regulations pertaining to safety, fire safety and environmental protection.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors Degree in a Safety related discipline / Industrial Hygiene and 3 years of experience in the management of healthcare safety. Recent Life Safety Code certificate, Experience in the application of JCAHO Environment of Care standards, Excellent computer skills. Years of healthcare safety management experience may be substituted for education / BS degree
