Assignment Capsule
You will provide leadership and oversight of the hospital/physician/ancillary and IPA/PHO contracting team in Chicago.

Ensure that corporate, health plan and work unit goals are achieved in a timely, effective and efficient manner.

Participate in the development of, and has direct accountability for, the execution of specific network strategies resulting in improved network scope and unit cost position.

Support associates in their efforts to effectively influence providers by leveraging Humana's value proposition, participating in negotiations and resolution of complex issues with high profile provider groups, IPAs and PHOs.

You engage in mutual problem solving and builds support for preferred alternatives by focusing on the value generated relative to all partys needs.
Role Essentials

Bachelors degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field.

7-10 years of experience in the area of managed care contracting, provider relations or hospital administration.

PC proficiency is a must, preferably in Microsoft Office and/or Lotus Notes.
Role Desirables

Masters degree preferred.
