OT Assistant

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is a licensed practitioner who provides rehabilitative services within their licensed scope of practice under the direction of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant participates in program, development, staff and community education.

As a member of the EMHC team responsibilities include promoting respect, and emphasizing efficiency and total service to all customers of EMHC including patients, family members, staff, physicians, volunteers and community members.

Qualifications: 1. Self-directed, able to work independently. 2. Must be flexible to scheduling changes including overtime, and weekend hours. 3. Recognition of the ""community"" served and a serious commitment to customer service. 4. Good interpersonal communication skills.

Education: CPR certification (C-level) and re-certified biannually.

Experience: Demonstrates competency in area of specialty through previous work experience and or clinical affiliations.

License: Current Illinois Licensure or successful completion of State Licensure Examination with License pending or Licensure eligible.
